We measure what your international payments really cost, tender them to regulated providers, and check every rate against the market before it settles. [CONFIRM Q11]
In detail
[DRAFT] Not approved for publication. Every fee, saving, safeguarding and comparative statement below needs compliance sign-off.
The rate is the cost
Most of what a charity pays to move money abroad is not a fee. It sits inside the exchange rate, as a margin between the rate you are given and the rate the market is trading at. It does not appear on an invoice, so it is rarely checked. [CONFIRM Q16]
What we do
01 Measure
We take your last twelve months of international payments and compare the rate on each one with an independent mid-market benchmark for the same moment. That gives a cost per payment, in pounds. [CONFIRM Q11]
02 Tender
We invite FCA-authorised payment providers to compete for your payments, and compare their terms side by side: the margin, the settlement times, the currencies they reach and the checks they run. [CONFIRM Q3] [CONFIRM Q5]
03 Verify
Every rate is confirmed to you in writing before it settles, and checked again afterwards against the market. Each month you receive a statement of every payment and what it cost. [CONFIRM Q11]
What does not change
You keep your bank. The provider handles the international payment; your day-to-day banking, your signatories and your controls stay where they are.
Local currency
Paying in the local currency of the country you are sending to is often cheaper and easier to reconcile than sending dollars or pounds. We show you the comparison for each corridor before you decide. [CONFIRM Q3]
What you receive
Rate confirmation. The rate and the cost for every payment, in writing.
Payment confirmation. Proof that funds were sent and received.
Monthly statement. Every payment for the month, with its verified cost.
Annual report. An independent record of what you paid and what changed, for trustees and auditors.
[CONFIRM Q3]
Questions we are asked most
Do we have to change bank? No. Your main banking stays where it is.
How long does it take to start? Usually a few weeks, most of it the provider's own compliance checks. [CONFIRM Q3]
What do you need from us? A short call and your recent payment records. We do the analysis.
